It's easy to join Skype in the workspace, all you need is your Skype ID, an email address and your business name. Or, if you prefer, you can sign-up using your LinkedIn credentials-whatever works for you. You can find a quick guide to getting started on our blog.

If you have a service you'd like to promote, you can do this by clicking "Add an opportunity" and completing the form. Be sure to include plenty of detail about what you have to offer, a punchy title for your offer is a good place to start; you can add images or video to make your opportunity more appealing.
It helps to market your offer outside of Skype in the workspace. Using Twitter, Facebook and blogging platforms are great ways to do this. Skype in the workspace helps people discover the your services, but that doesn't mean you can't go out and find them. You can share your opportunity directly by using the social buttons on the page.
On the Skype in the workspace homepage, enter a search term that relates to the opportunities you want to see (for example, "marketing" or "foreign language instruction").
You'll get search results with all the opportunities that have been created relating to your search. After you've found what you're looking for you can connect with the owner to arrange a Skype call.
People find opportunities by searching for specific keywords on the site, so make sure that you have provided a relevant title and description which will help people searching for opportunities.
You can find links to share your opportunity on Twitter, LinkedIn or Google Plus just below your the description. You can also advertise your opportunity outside of Skype in the workplace by sharing it on your blog or website.
You'll be sent an email when someone is interested in connecting with you. You'll then be able to email them, or simply add them as a Skype contact. After you've connected on Skype you can continue your conversation by instant message, or make a voice or video call through Skype. It's up to you how you choose to communicate with other users.
To edit your opportunity, click on your name on the top right hand corner of the page, from the drop down menu select 'View Profile'. Find the opportunity you want to edit from the list and click it. On your opportunity page, you'll find a green button saying 'Edit opportunity'. You'll find the 'Delete' button at the bottom of this page.
You can add a testimonial after you've connected with someone's opportunity on Skype in the workspace. This will let them (and other users) know your feedback on their opportunity.
